Electric Park Glider

I have been wanting to build one of these for around 15 years now.  I started its design around 12 years ago and stopped.  This spring I decided I had a good use for one so I fired up my cad program and finished the design.  I ended up making two of them.  The Purple and Yellow one will go to my friends two daughters so they can learn how to fly and RC Glider.  The other one which has since been covered in Blue and Yellow covering has many hours of thermal soaring on it.  Both models have a 42” wingspan, small brushless outrunner motor and a 3-cell 850mAh Lipo.  All up weight is right around 15 ounces.  This thing climbs like a rocket and glides like an Eagle.  It is amazing how well it thermal soars and has great wind penetration to get back to the field.
