A group of a 100,000 strong Video game players was looking for a person to build them a 60” tall rocket that could fly. This model was part of the new but Never to be Released Mega Man Video game. It was their way of saying to the video game company they should finish the game. As for me I got paid good money to build the model and it was just a way cool project since its not your typical rocket build. As the photos will show, most of the rocket is built out of foam covered in fiberglass cloth and epoxy. I believe there are a total of 13 different colors applied to this model all of which are from Krylon Spray cans over Krylon spray primer. All of the solid upper and lower rocket engine looking parts are made with cast urethane resin. Power for flight was a I-500 Motor, How did it fly? See video link below.
