I started the Cad work on this one back maybe in 2013. I had a set of Robart Retracts so I designed this scale Japanese Ki-100 around them. It has been sitting for about a year and half now but hopefully I will get back to it soon. It will be powered by a Cox 50mm brushless motor running on ten cells. I expect the weight to come out under 17 pounds so it should have plenty of power. Mid-course in its construction I realized I made a mistake on the width on the cockpit are so i had to build it up in size with balsa and a Micro Balloon filler. I only have to hinge the model and install the servos and push rods. After that it is pretty much just a finishing operation to get the paint on. Of course I sill may want to install some form of cockpit interior which is the real reason the model have been setting on the side while I build other planes.
